A Leader
Good
afternoon everyone. First of all, I would like to thank to all of you for
having me here. Today, I would like to speak about the most important
leadership character. As we know, being a leader is not an easy job. But if we
have a will to learn, we could be a good leader. Due to the fact that having a
leader character will make our career development going better, a leader should
have several good characters to support their position.
The
first thing is discipline. Since they will be under spot light, they will be
followed by others. If they not
discipline, it will become a bad example for others, also will broke their
images. A leader also should learn from other people success. It could be
family, teacher, even president. Take their positive attitude and use it as
example for leading.
The
second important character is responsible. A leader must know what objective
and goals they want to reach and responsible for all duty in line with that.
A
leader also must be capable to act as director. They must manage hierarchy of
authority of the group, in order to make a good group work. Beside that,
leaders also have to control the group job desk. They should listen for any
criticism and suggestion from the others and do not just act as leader or director,
but must work directly as a team with the group.
Since
from day to day we will have more competitors in business, we have to develop
our abilities in terms of leadership. A leader’s work influences the group
success. Although it is not easy, but be a leader is very useful for our life,
especially to our career. We could learn
to be more discipline, responsible and manage things. Finally, I would like to
say that we all could be a good leader. So, keep learning!
